Version 9.108 – Freshup 2020-02
This is a concise overview of the new features and changes which have been compiled into Freshup.
Create Alignment Drawing
- Command SHIFTVALUES: The alignment course in the sheet is now taken into account when choosing the annotation.
- Command GRADIENTSTRING: The chainages are now annotated legibly in the direction of chainage.
Create Route Plan
- Annotating the chainage alignment has been revised.
Design Roundabout
- The 'corner rounding - circular carriageway offset calculation' works correctly even if you have selected the 'Circulatory Carriageway not a Circle' option and have specified an offset.
Design T-junction
- Functions Edit Basic Geometry and Parameters Teardrop: The interaction of the distance 'Carriageway Edge on Side of the T-junction' and the 'Left-turning Exit/Entry' radii has been revised so that the teardrop can now be calculated correctly.
Design Vertical Alignment
- Function Change Settings:
- Overlaps: You can now set the behaviour for vertical curve overlaps: Tangent Constant (radius will be adjusted accordingly), Set Break and Error Message (as until now).
- Minimum Vertical Curve: The corresponding vertical curve radius is now determined from the limit values for the radius and the tangent length.
- The maximum gradient difference below which a change in gradient does not result in inserting a vertical curve can now be set in the limit values for the 'Railway' mode. Depending on the selected functions and settings, this is evaluated while editing the vertical alignment.
Edit Cant String
- Function Attributes: You can now also assign the 'Valid Cant' attribute to the currently selected cant string.
Edit Chainage List
- Function Generate Chainage List using the sources 'Alignment Master Points' and 'Alignment Start/End': The end chainage is no longer adopted twice.
Edit Lines
- Function Heights in Profile: The point heights of a selected line segment are now rounded correctly in a spline even if the versine is very small.
Edit Point Code Conversion Table
- You can now assign long file names to conversion tables.
- When lines are changed, a check is now carried out to determine whether there are duplicate entries.
- Displaying the assignments of the old to the new codes has been improved.
Edit Raster Images
- Function Import WMS: Raster images can now also be imported from the Bonn server with GK zone 2.
Edit Width String
- Function Edit in Dialog: When graphically selecting the width with relative reference, only the relative offset is now correctly entered in the dialog box. This is not possible when editing in the editor.
Generate Railway Structures (BIM)
- New function Spatial Structures: This function allows the subsequent calculation of the spatial structures from cross-section lines. This may be necessary if
- the spatial structures have not yet been calculated for performance reasons when calculating the cross-section lines,
- the spatial structures fit geometrically, but the free attribution still has to be tweaked,
- you use your own tools to adapt the cross-section lines for special cases.
- Function Generate Railway Structures:
- An additional cross-section line is created for the 'As-is without Topsoil'.
- You can no longer assign the numbers for the cross-section lines 'As-is', 'RUE Design (Without Superstructure)' and 'Subgrade'. These are now part of the 'number block 100' which is reserved for a railway structure.
- Function Define Railway Structures:
- A railway structure is defined on a track-by-track (alignment-by-alignment) basis. To ensure that you are going to edit the parameters of the correct alignment, the current alignment with its most important attributes will displayed after selecting the function Define. You can switch the current alignment in the data context.
- When calculating the cut and fill quantities, extrapolation is now always correct.
- The lateral limitation of a railway structure using the 'Width String' method has been corrected.
- Further changes:
- Undo now works correctly.
- The graphics are updated immediately after the calculation if the objects are selected for display.
- Empty assemblies are no longer created.
Graphic Fieldbook
GNSS Receiver of the Trimble R-Series
- For quality checks and monitoring of GNSS measurements, accuracy values are displayed in the status bar. The accuracy values are now also refreshed during a point measurement.
- The GNSS receivers saved in the central project are automatically adopted in your work projects if no GNSS receivers have been created yet.
- With the 'On the Fly' transformation for your heights, the target system can now be changed to the master vertical system.
Tacheometers of the Trimble S-Series
- Reflector-less measurement in the Radial Survey function: While running a radial measurement, you can easily switch from a measurement with a prism to a reflector-less measurement. The reflector height is automatically deactivated and is not included in the height calculation of the object point.
Import/Export GND-Edit Data
- Function Export DBB/MDB: The output of redundant GND EDIT nodes from alignment master points is avoided.
- Function Import DBB/MDB: Defining/detecting the through and the diverging track has been improved.
Import/Export LandXML Data
- Function Import Alignments:
- More than 50 alignments can now be read from a file.
- In the 'Alignment Parameters from LandXML File' dialog box, the information button is only active for existing alignments.
Import/Export VERM.ESN Data
- Function Export: Exporting alignments is now (again) possible without vertical alignments and cants.
Import GIS Data
- You can now define the code of the data directly from an attribute during the import.
- With the editing of attributes, it is now possible to copy or move lines and texts to another layer.
Manage Alignment
- Function Export Alignments:
- When exporting UTM coordinates, the coordinate system zone is now also added to the Easting value.
- Data type 'KA 040': The output file name is now case sensitive.
- When exporting further alignments to a previously named file, the file name is now displayed correctly.
