A new look for the IB&T Group

The IB&T Group presented its new look at the INTERGEO trade fair. Modern and clear, familiar yet new, a fresh perspective: this was the new corporate design on show to visitors at our all-new stand in Frankfurt/Main.

On 1 November 2018 IB&T celebrated its 30-year jubilee – the perfect occasion to freshen up our public image.

IB&T develops technically-intelligent software for traffic infrastructure design which combines sound engineering, the relevant planning regulations, innovative methods and processes as well as modern IT into one competitive product. The IB&T Group includes IB&T Software GmbH, GEO DIGITAL GmbH and RZI Software GmbH. The unity of the IB&T Group can be seen in its four new logos; designed around a common layout to emphasize its uniform corporate image.

Trade fair visitors were impressed: IB&T would like to thank the guests at our joint stand for their confidence in us and the inspiring discussions, which chiefly revolved around specialist topics of the GEO-IT sector. Specialists were particularly won over by the BIM-compliant development of the current version, such as the new way to model existing conditions incl. attributes, finalising the IFC-interfaces and the parameterized bridge generator. First impressions of the future card_1 generation were positive, particularly the parameterized BIM-route structure and the expert system with integrated regulations comformity. The software will perform many work steps in future and present draft roads or railway routes as intelligent suggestions. Users will thus have more time to assess and check their designs. A precise model of results with technical 3D object results in compliance with BIM processes. Video INTERGEO 2018

New features of RZI Tiefbau's Version 2018 include point management, the digital terrain model, road design, REB quantity calculation tools plus the stand-alone program AKVS/elKe, which, with its new price databases and OKSTRA interface 2.018, makes cost management a breeze. Many visitors were very interested in the latest developments in  ALKIS® Pro and transforming/ converting data via TransKon. RZI Software GmbH was also available for Q&A at the BricsCAD stand since RZI Tiefbau's products are used on this affordable platform alongside AutoCAD®.

IB&T would equally like to thank its visitors for their interest in the presentations given by IB&T business partners. G&W Software AG demonstrated its AVA solution California.pro with the BIM2AVA 3.0 module and how it works with card_1. Representatives of aRES Datensysteme and GOSPlus presented the new ALKIS®.ci and how to display sewer/pipe networks in 3D as well as GP-works.
As part of the BVBS lecture series, IB&T's General Manager, Uwe Hüttner, gave a talk at the INTERGEO congress on BIM-transport routes. He presented the BIM-existing conditions modelling and the BIM-route structure with card_1 as well as BIM-coordination with DESITE MD.
