Excellent Results at InnoTrans
Another highly successful trade fair for the IB&T Group at Berlin's specialist fair for railway technology.
A total of 3,062 exhibitors from 61 countries welcomed over 160,000 industry experts to the leading international trade fair for transport technology in Berlin. The final weekend was also open to the public. The open-air grounds gave railway-tech fans a fascinating look at the 145 latest-model railcars.
Visitors to the IB&T Group's stand were from Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Estonia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Norway and Austria. They could view the virtual card_1 world, experience railway design with Version 9.1 and go home with the autumn issue of interActive, IB&T's customer magazine, hot off the press.
The demands of BIM-compliant design in the railway sector are continuing to grow: naturally, card_1 supports BIM processes. Visitors were impressed by how intelligent technology allows design results to be transferred to BIM-coordination, AKVS and AVA software. Discussions revealed that they also liked the new switch elevation plan, now in colour, and specifically asked about track design from point clouds, railway platforms, clearance spaces, 3D-route simulation and data imports from other systems. HPA-LUE clearance space limitation management was another common topic - for which our colleagues at GEO DIGITAL were also on hand to provide answers.
We'd like to invite those who did not make it to Berlin to InnoTrans 2020.
