The latest feature: all our clients can now access the 3D structures in CARD/1. The 3D structures with their actual geometry are literally generated at the click of the mouse.
The 3D structures are displayed in all project views - in the base map as a plan view and in the 3D project view as a 3D structure. The sections for all existing 3D structures are displayed in the profile and cross-sectional views, e.g. crossing utilities.
You can use CardScript to create your own range of CARD/1 functions. CardScript is seamlessly integrated within CARD/1. As CardScript and the cross-section developer are based on the same principles, both modules can automatically be used together.
This gives you access to the most important project data; e.g. points, lines, digital terrain models, alignments, switches, drawings and point clouds as well as sub-attributes and structures.
When exchanging data CardScript supports various sources: ASCII (e.g. CSV, XML), Excel spreadsheets, databases (SQL) and others. Just a few minutes of programming spare you many hours of routine dialog work.
The new CARD/1 ALKIS import interface supports the AAA data model as well as the NAS format to exchange the data. Should you receive any official cadastre and topographic data in the near future as AFIS-ALKIS-ATKIS data in the NAS format, you can directly import this data into your CARD/1 project.
CARD/1 now also supports the data exchange standard LandXML for points, digital terrain models and rail routes based on the 7 line model. The CARD/1 DXF/DWG interface now also supports the DXF/DWG versions 2007 and 2008.
You can easily produce sewer base maps, sewer profiles and theme plans with annotation optimization without any previous experience. The integrated annotation positioning optimization system automatically determines the position and the distance of the texts to the reaches and manholes depending on the sewer layout.
You can equally create annotation optimized utilization diagrams for any given sewer network. The sewer profile batch mode provides a powerful tool to generate all sewer profiles and a qualified sewer base map, to run a sewer check calculation as well as to produce a utilization diagram of the network - all in less than one hour.
Modern laser scanners generate many million of discrete 3D points when logging traffic routes. You can take the new CARD/1 evaluation functions for point clouds to automatically determine point heights, line heights, digital terrain models, ground profile lines and cross-sections from the laser scanner data. You can conveniently generate the data of the existing objects as well as their height data.
Many of your ideas and suggestions were taken into account when we developed the new Version 8.2. Test it for yourself.
