consists of the following companies:
IB&T produces the CAD software CARD/1, an innovative, one-stop software solution for surveyors and civil engineers specializing in road, rail and sewer planning and GIS. Our local offices and partners distribute CARD/1 and provide a wide range of services locally and internationally.
IB&T Head Office, located in Norderstedt, near Hamburg, is responsible for corporate strategy and decision-making. Our national customers are looked after by 42 Head Office staff, from development, sales, marketing, support, training, documentation and administration.
With the help of our offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart and our regional sales partners, we offer Germany-wide customer support, reliable hotline service, excellent training and project consulting.
Our subsidiary in the PR China and our partners in the C.I.S. states, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Hungary play an important role in our international strategy. A total of 75 staff and partners are involved in further developing and selling the software.
Our subsidiaries GEO DIGITAL GmbH and RZI Software GmbH provide IB&T with additional specialist knowledge and round off our product range nicely.
GEO DIGITAL GmbH, located in Düsseldorf, is a subsidiary of the IB&T group. GEO DIGITAL produces GEOPAC, the leading software solution for track-bound traffic route design and planning of local public transport networks.
GEOPAC runs on the CAD400, LinCAD and EliteCAD CAD- systems on the HP-UX, AIX, Linux and Windows operating systems. GEOPAC has been used for years by numerous well-known public transport companies which have their own engineering offices as well as tram and rail networks.
Our Nuremberg subsidiary, RZI Software GmbH, is the latest addition to the IB&T group and is extremely successful in the fields of CAD and GIS. The CARD/1 product range has been strengthened by RZI Software's innovative CARD/1 for AutoCAD solution.
The software, based on AutoCAD, leads the way in managing project data and providing context-related functions, covering everything needed for civil engineering – from the preliminary design right through to the calculation of quantities.
IB&T set up its Chinese subsidiary Xi'an CARD/1 Software Co. Ltd. in 2001. Xi'an, once an imperial city, lies in the central province of Shaanxi, and from there the General Manager, Mei Tang, and her team look after customers right across China.
CARD/1 has been available as a Chinese version since 1997. An experienced team of Chinese engineers has been working to adapt the software to the particular needs of the Chinese market. Our many Chinese users are given valuable support in their daily use of CARD/1 via training and sophisticated technical support. CARD/1 is now one of the leading planning and design systems in China.
